This was a revised layout to make the experience of buying replacement filters much nicer. The old layout was a table with a list of filters, but the filters had names that looked like gibberish. Users would have to figure out what system they had, then find which filters go with that system. No one wants to be digging through a product manual just to get a replacement.
I came up with a system that would make that easier, with pictures for identification, and more descriptions. By selecting a system first, then displaying the filters for that system, the process feels much more clear. I considered Hick’s Law to reduce the options presented.
